1.It is used as a flattening agent to reduce gloss in lacquers and varnishes, it has perfect flatting effect, perfect dispersion and perfect transparent.                                                     2.Anti-blocking. Plastic films and sheets are often rolled or piled after final processing. These films tend  to adhere to each other at the many points of the contact; a phenomenon called blocking. Silica Flatting agent has proven to be extremely effective in the prevention of blocking.

Additionally, there are applications for information-recording paper such as electrostatic recording paper, sensitized paper, and impact paper.
